Another set of pictures from last month. What really makes them special is that a) These were taken with an actual camera! and not a phone which has been the case since the inception of my blog. b) these were taken by one of my very close buddies that I finally got to meet this time around after a very long time! and I daresay she did a really good job here considering the fact that it was raining so much that day and I was not in any condition to take pictures! Think bushy, frizzy hair resulting from the moisture that you can't possibly get away from, even if you have an umbrella with you!
I didn't have an umbrella and so it doesn't even matter complaining about my hair. hah So these were taken in and outside a coffee shop in a mall! so yeah naturally I got a lot of weird stares when I did my weird poses; no wonder I look so stiff in these pictures.
So glad that it is finally Saturday! Happy weekend lovies!

Who doesn’t like extempore things turning out to be better
than if they were planned right? Well, I’m an ardent believer of the saying <<Go with the flow>> because I hardly ever plan anything! mostly because a)
most of the time they turn out to be a disaster b) I’m not good at coping with disasters hah
So just like the trip or the sojourn that I took this past month,
these pictures were also extemporized, Dchen and I had just returned from our
weekly (sometimes twice weekly) trip uptown and were just way too tired to do anything at all; but then we passed this pretty spot and since it’s no secret
how much of a sucker I am for cute backgrounds I had to take some pictures, and
I love how pretty they came out! All thanks to my buddy <3
But what really made it memorable (for humorous reasons) was
that we had a few spectators watching our every move probably wondering as to what
was going on and why was I being so extra about the whole thing! Haha I bet they enjoyed the show though, but we had a good laugh about it.
Happy Monday!

I've had so many things that I always dreamed of doing and most of them I still
am working on, some of them felt so out of reach at that particular point of
time as they only felt sensible for a second before turning into something
utterly ridiculous. One of those dreams of course was to have a blog of my own!
I can't say that I'm a god one that cause I have still a lot more to do!
All through my college years I would spend an enormous amount of time
venerating all those perfect and dreamy blogs and my heart ached with the
feeling of needing to start one too but my insecurities somehow would
immediately find a way to quash my blogger dreams.
But then one day I woke up and thought, why not?! and so eventually I did take "THE" step and here I am living the dream! so that was one dream down but there was one
more thing that I wanted to do if I ever had a blog and that was collaborating
with a fellow blogger haha and what are the odds!! I'm finally doing that
too! The collaboration that was long overdue lol
So this past week Dchen of This
Minimal Life and I went out to take pictures and I gotta admit
that I was apprehensive about the results given the fact that our styles are
poles apart and we had some uncertainty that we might look out of sync! Nut the
results were not that bad and we actually likes how they came out!
So it was a lovely day and I hope we get to do this again!

Nothing about me is unparadoxical, I am head to toe drenched
in incongruity for so many reasons. To unfamiliar eyes I might seem like the
most stable and resilient person in the whole world, I too might agree to that
if I were not <<me>>; as much as I would like to believe it I don’t
have half of the stable vibes that I emanate. If I were to describe myself in
one word it would be "Indomitable", because no matter how much I try I can’t seem
to quash my insecurities, they somehow always creep back in. And so the
illusionary placid disposition gets hit by ripples of impending (ominous)
emotions. I almost fail to fathom myself at times but each unpleasant
experience somehow helps me contain my anxieties a little bit more. But then
all that makes me <<ME>>, Me who is made up of idiosyncrasies, <<Me>>
even has a list of idiosyncrasies that "me" is proud of! The one that stands out --- "Me" needs something on her head at all times (so yes I’m trying to skip to a
more trivial subject here haha) except of course when "me" sleeps! And speaking
of my head I just can’t help obsessing over this burgundy bowler that I found
by accident! As usual! Maybe I should add <<FINDS THINGS BY ACCIDENT;
ALWAYS!>> to my list of idiosyncrasies? I went looking for something else
and found this hat instead! Same goes with the overall dress; I was looking for
a shift dress but ended up with this!
So this post didn’t go as I had planned I wanted it to be
short; but then nothing goes as planned right? It is getting darker as I type
and it seems like I’m the only one who still has some patience left to be
working (not exactly) way past the required time! and also I have to walk all
the way back home taking all those serpentine alleys that are all too familiar
in the mornings but come twilight they turn hostile; almost like revisiting a
dream that you have long forgotten about. But these walks are always a treat
for me after spending the whole day filling a desolate chair staring at the
computer screen for hours at a time while simultaneously trying to drown out
the noise that perpetually punctures the air around me. I see a gray sky with a
lonely crescent moon through my window—a striking contrast to the busy roads
and the disoriented jumble of lights from the shop windows. I feel like
stretching this a bit but I’m going to leave it for the next blog post.
Good Night to you all!
